Hi, I’m Lucy and this week, I made:
Share The Brain is a Noodle Newsletter
My English teacher once taught us
that there doesn’t need to be
a solid essay writing structure,
abandoning the 5-paragraph hamburger
we were taught in earlier grades.
I learned to hate my body
from an aunt who taught me
all about the world of
beauty products,
of applying 62 creams,
morning, night and day.
This
is a poem
about iced coffee,
but
no
regrets.
Some kids perform,
for the love
they only receive
when they are
perfect.
How nature
ㅤwill continue on
ㅤㅤpersevering,
or is it, simply existing
ㅤirrespective
of how much
ㅤit will have
ㅤㅤinteracted
ㅤwith us.
Today,
I spent my time
writing poetry,wondering if I could
place bread and butter
on my breakfast menu
from this sole source of creation.
I hope,I hope,
so deeply
you do not prove us wrong.
