For me,
this week’s self-care
involves getting back
on that yoga habit.
It’s been
a few weeks without luck,
until I realized
I was focussing on the wrong goal!
I should actually be
changing the CUE for the habit
not the REWARD
(yoga is intrinsically rewarding
to me, so it hasn’t been about
upping the reward post-habit,
but rather, remembering to
do it in the first place.)

☕ How are you taking care of yourself this week?
Oh I'm finding it so difficult to get back into the yoga habit too! And why! cos it always makes me feel good! atm I'm finding myself doing doodles, pictures on my tablet which is relaxing, tho def taking me away from what I should be doing, the admin side of registering music, need to jump in and start again
For me, this week has meant putting up huge guardrails around my sleep schedule. It’s meant saying no to some things I really enjoy, but this was not the week to run on 3-4 hours/night.
